Giving

From the beginning, Tahoe Trail Bar has been dedicated to giving back. We are just custodians of the Tahoe name and we want to participate in helping people get the most out of the outdoors. An integral part of fulfilling this objective is giving back to organizations that directly impact the beauty and adventure that Lake Tahoe has to offer.

Tahoe Rim Trail Association

What if there was a trail that circumnavigated the rim of the entire Lake Tahoe Basin. Oh wait, there is! Part of 1% for the Planet, the Tahoe Rim Trail Association is a volunteer, non-profit organization established in 1981 to plan, construct and maintain the Tahoe Rim Trail. This 165-mile, twenty-four inch, single-track trail is open to hiking, equestrians and mountain biking (in most areas). The trail encompasses the ridge tops of the Lake Tahoe Basin, crossing six counties and two states.

Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association

We support Tahoe Area Mountain Biking Association (TAMBA) because they build new ways for people to get outside and explore. Trails are means for people to enjoy one another’s company and to help people efficiently get to very remote locations. Part of the 1% for the Planet, TAMBA has been on a trail building tear, both improving and constructing new adventure arteries through the basin. We love new trails, and we are stoked to be a part of their mission to add new paths to outdoor enjoyment.

High Fives Foundation

The High Fives Foundation helps people who get rad, back on their feet again. They raise injury prevention awareness for outdoor athletes and provide resources for those who suffer life altering injuries. We know that injury is a reality in the outdoors, and we are grateful to be a part of an organization that helps athletes get back in the game.
